The FreeTwinEV project warmly invites PhD students and researchers at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava to a free online training on one Ethics and Security in Horizon Europe projects.
Do you know what ethics review really means for your project, or when security provisions apply to your research? This session will give you practical clarity on both topics, drawn from real funded projects and delivered by two of Slovakia’s leading national experts.

About the trainers:
Soňa Ftáčniková is author of several publications on bioethics, research ethics and integrity. Since 2017 she has served as National Contact Point for ethics and research integrity in Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe. She chaired the European Science Foundation Member Forum working group on research integrity, contributing to the European Code of Conduct for Research Integrity (2014), and in 2022–2024 coordinated the working group that produced the National Code of Research Integrity and Ethics in Slovakia. She currently serves as Chair of the National Commission for Research Integrity and Ethics in Slovakia.
Peter Beňo is an experienced project consultant and former National Contact Point for Legal & Financial Issues and Secure Societies. He brings hands-on experience from funded projects and will address the practical security requirements researchers encounter in Horizon Europe proposals and grants.
