Are you fascinated by the cutting-edge advancements in battery systems? Do you want to explore the power of digital twins to revolutionize battery design and performance? Are you eager to gain hands-on experience in multi-physical modeling and CAD simulations?
Join us at our Summer School on Digital Twin Development for Battery Systems and dive deep into the world of Electrical, Mechanical, and Multiphysical Modeling!

Why Attend?
As the demand for efficient and reliable energy storage solutions grows, mastering digital twin technology becomes essential. Digital twins enable real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance, and optimization of battery systems, paving the way for next-gen electric vehicles and energy solutions. This summer school is designed to equip you with the basic knowledge and skills needed to excel in this rapidly evolving field.

What to Expect?
The 3 day program will introduce you to the fundamentals of Systems Engineering, providing a strong foundation for understanding the intricacies of battery systems. You will learn about Electrochemical and Mechanical Modeling and Multi-physical Modeling of Batteries, gaining insights into how these models contribute to enhanced battery performance and safety. The session will further explore Digital Twin Architecture, unveiling the powerful combination of physics-based models and equivalent circuit models that form the backbone of digital twin technology. To bring these concepts to life, you will engage in a detailed CAD Model lecture followed by a hands-on activity, where you will apply your knowledge to build a battery prototype, gaining practical experience in a simulated environment. The preliminary program structure is given below.

Who Should Attend?
This summer school is ideal for:

• Graduate, MSc or PhD students, researchers, and industry professionals passionate about battery energy storage, electric vehicles, and digital twin technology.
• Engineers and technologists looking to build a strong foundation in modelling and understand the fundamentals of battery systems.
• Innovators eager to explore cross-functional applications of digital twins in the field of energy storage.

Embark on a transformative learning journey that bridges the gap between theory and practical application. Network with leading experts, collaborate with like-minded peers, and unlock new career opportunities in the growing domain of digital twin technology for battery systems.
